Component factory is web portal designed with Spring framework like view layer and Hibernate like persistence layer. Hibernate is a powerful technology for persisting data in any kind of Application. Spring, on the other hand is a dependency injection framework that supports IOC. The beauty of Spring is that it can integrate well with most of the prevailing popular technologies. CF handles basically with OSGi bundles and versions of components. Every component must/may have a data scheme which is a SQL file for create database.
